Bye! Loads of pictures

My dad took this one and gave it to me. I love the lighting and the old-ness of this church.

Archives

I'm going to be out of town for this next week in Oregon. Hopefully I get some great pictures there! So I left you with a plethora of pictures from the past to enjoy.

Hike

I just went on a hike and took a couple of pictures. But I don't like any of them. How frustrating.

Boating

I went boating at Yuba Lake in Central Utah, around Manti. The water was a green-blue, almost teal colored. Very pretty.

Rainbows

So I'm sorry I didn't post the last two days. I was out of town and have some really great photos coming up! First I'll just start with the rainbow. This rainbow was in Sandy, Utah. After raining for some odd hours this rainbow appeared. I only had an old Canon PowerShot so I didn't do the best job capturing the beauty. But here's the result anyways.

Wendsday

Tuesday

I'm going to have you guess what the first one is.

Second one I was just playing around with edits on Lightroom.

The vulture was so close to me and I don't think I did a good job of showing how close it was. My camera makes things look farther than they really are.

The girl fishing is one of my favorites. Just shows a passion.

Waterfall

On two of these I did a long shutter speed to see what it looked like. Comment which two are with a long shutter speed.

for my father

I was born in the land of flame
I was born without a name
Not knowing who I was
Not knowing what I would be

He shaped me. He sawed my edges.
Carved me out. He created me.
Though the knife's path sometimes stung
It has made me who I am.

Thanks Dad

Busy

I was so busy yesterday, I forgot to post something! I went on this incredible backpacking trip in the Oquirrh Mountains in Toole, Utah. I wish I had brought my camera. There was this meadow of orange flowers and it was so gorgeous. I wish you could have seen it. Oh, and there was a little boy and girl that were playing in it. Just smiling and having a good time, I wish I could have captured the moment.

Andrei Arshavin is my favorite soccer player in the world. He is Russian and plays for Arsenal in Barclay's Premiere League. I love him because of his speed and creativity. Some of his moves are so insane. His childhood is a great story. His father was an amateur soccer player, but his parents were divorced when he was 10. He lived with his mother, sleeping in a cramped room, on a dirty floor. His father pushed him to become a professional soccer player. He was accepted into the Zenit St. Petersburg youth development, which is where his career started. His story is a great one.

Come back later today. I'll have new pictures and a surprise.

Yes I am Alive

I have been lazy lately and not posting, but that changed today. The pictures with the trees are my evidence for the love of my camera. The Manuel Focus is so great, I love how just where the image is focused can change the meaning and interpretation of the image.

Anyways, thanks for reading.

The Fray

Later on this summer I get to go to The Fray concert with Jack's Mannequin. Very, very excited, I love The Fray. Anyways, to the pictures.

The tie: I l-o-v-e this tie. So vibrant and busy, just love it.

Post-it Card: I did this during history class. I was bored, we were learning about the Spartans, so I thought why not? This is like the tie, busy.

Lastly the lights. Just fun.

I am jealous of everyone's large number of followers, if you have any suggestions of how I can get more, please tell me.

Smile

The day, it started bright
This day, emerged with happiness
Now its lost its might
And has me hanging to this sappiness

This day looked to be 'the one'
The day appeared to be My Day
Now look what its become, this silly, dumb pun
And these words is all I have to say.
