The only major problem with my recent backpacking trip to Wyoming's Wind River's mountain range (other than the copious walking) was the mosquitoes--trillions of them. As you can see in these photos, most of us (the smart ones) were clad in protective gear head-t0-toe and we wore annoying (only slightly less annoying that the mosquitoes) mosquito netting masks. It really sucks when you forget you're wearing them and you try to shovel oatmeal in your mouth. Goats did nothing to keep them away either.
