Oregon Mountains

These were taken on my way to Oregon. I'm not sure what mountains they are, but I believe this is Mount Rieneir. If you know please comment the correct name. So I'm going to the Wind Rivers, Wyoming for a week for a 50-mile hike. I will be taking tons of pictures. So I'll see you in a week.

It Never Fails

It never fails. Whenever I leave, my family does something fun without me. They went mountain biking at Deer Valley. A very fine resort.

Stunning Video from a Stunning Device

I'm away this week at Olympic Development Soccer training on the west coast. This short 15 second video was also sourced by my father's new iPhone. I hope Blogger doesn't dumb-down the quality of this video so you can see it at its native resolution. For the convenience of video on a cell phone, this quality is more than acceptable.

UPDATE: after posting this I can see that Blogger does indeed reduce the video quality from its source format. Too bad! iPhone video is very good quality. Hope you like it anyway.

Interesting Art from Local Arts Festival

My dad took this picture last weekend at a local arts festival. The quality isn't the best because it was taken with his iPhone, but the subject matter is fantastic. I love the vibrant colors employed by the artist.

I'm not sure what the artist's message was, but in a lot of her work there is a rooster in an empty room.

I'm going to be out of town for this next week in Oregon. Hopefully I get some great pictures there! So I left you with a plethora of pictures from the past to enjoy.

Hike

I just went on a hike and took a couple of pictures. But I don't like any of them.How frustrating.

Boating

I went boating at Yuba Lake in Central Utah, around Manti. The water was a green-blue, almost teal colored. Very pretty.

Rainbows

So I'm sorry I didn't post the last two days. I was out of town and have some really great photos coming up! First I'll just start with the rainbow. This rainbow was in Sandy, Utah. After raining for some odd hours this rainbow appeared. I only had an old Canon PowerShot so I didn't do the best job capturing the beauty. But here's the result anyways.

The vulture was so close to me and I don't think I did a good job of showing how close it was. My camera makes things look farther than they really are.

The girl fishing is one of my favorites. Just shows a passion.
